Karen Harrison

Director of Health and Athletic Development

Karen Harrison from Brisbane, Australia graduated from the university of Queensland in 1998 with a Former Podiatrist (QUT), Exercise Science Post Grad (UQ) and Diploma of Sports Nutrition (IOC). She started her career as a podiatrist in Brisbane. In 2000 Karen and her Husband Rob migrated to Miami Florida where they partnered with Jim Mclean and Jim Mclean Golf School bringing their expertise in 3D Golf Biodynamics with their Company Golf Biodynamics. After 12 years with Jim Mclean in Miami Karen moved to IJGA South Carolina to head up their Athletic Development program where she spent 3 years developing the program. In 2016 Karen relocated to IJGA Orlando to once again build the Athletic Development program into the success that it is today. Karen has worked with National Teams from all over the world, National Players, College players along with Tour Players from every major tour in the world including PGA Tour Players, US Open winners and LPGA Tour Players. Encouraging junior golf athletes to realize their potential as athletes and develop a love for fitness along the way. Working with a talented group of like-minded professionals makes for a rewarding work environment.
