Drake Edmond from Michigan City, Indiana attended the Professional Golfers Career College in Orlando FL where he would go on to graduate with a Degree in Golf Management in 2011. He turned Pro in the Moonlight Tour 2010. Drake started his career in the Golf Industry at Long Beach Country Club in Long Beach Indiana where he spent 2 years from 2009 – 2010. In 2010 Drake enrolled in the Professional Golfers Career College in Orlando FL After relocating to Orlando FL and graduating from the PGCC in 2011 Drake went on to work for the famed David Leadbetter. During his time at Leadbetter Drake trained under, became certified and observed lessons with some of the best players in the world. In 2015 Drake knew that a future in Junior and Elite Players Development was the direction and no better place than IJGA and facility than Bishops Gate. Drake joined the team in 2015 as a Golf Coach and has since risen through the ranks in the team into his current position as Senior Golf Coach and Assistant Director of Golf Operations. Over the years Drake has observed and coached many of the worlds top players from all major tours including the PGA Tour, LPGA Tour, European Tour as well as personally developing Junior Players going on to play on the Canadian Tour. “The privilege of seeing each student’s progression and guiding them on their path to college golf or professional golf is the reason I enjoy working at IJGA.”
