Lynda Hughes

With over 16 years of dedicated service to IJGA, Lynda Hughes brings a wealth of experience and compassion to her role as Director of Admissions & Student Operations. Her responsibilities span every aspect of the student journey; from admissions, visas, and medical insurance to overseeing student housing, catering, housekeeping, and the procurement of uniforms and golf gear.

Lynda also manages all student housing and rental properties, ensuring a safe and supportive living environment. She plays a key role in organizing parent events and maintaining strong connections with IJGA families.

Originally from South Africa and with a background in hospitality, Lynda is deeply passionate about helping students grow into confident, well-rounded individuals. “Watching them come in as kids and leave as young adults ready to face the world is the most rewarding part of my work,” she says.

A proud mother of three and grandmother of three, Lynda travels often to visit family back home. Outside of IJGA, she volunteers alongside her husband of 30 years at their local church and recently became a certified scuba diver.
