Sofia’s All Africa Challenge victory is one of many for this promising young golfer. In recent months, Sofia–who has dual Moroccan and United States nationality–has represented her countries well. She won the Pan-Arab Woman’s title for Morocco in September for the second year in a row.
Sofia Cherif Essakali represented the United States in the junior Solheim Cup against Europe in September. Her performance resulted in triumph over Europe by a significant margin.
