IJGA’s golf winter camp allows you to practice at the same facility as our Academy students. Because the weather is always warm in Florida, even during winter, we keep our facility open for students year-round so they can keep their golf game fresh. Today’s blog from IJGA explains how to gain a competitive edge at winter golf camp.
Prepares You for Tournaments
Spring tournaments abound in Florida starting in March. Winter golf camp helps you practice and prepare for tournament season. Rather than slip backward and lose your focus, you can maintain your practice regimen for a month or two before other people hit the links when the weather gets warmer.
Winter golf camp attendees get to use the same indoor and outdoor practice facilities as our academy attendees. Use our state-of-the-art training technology, weight and exercise room, as well as outdoor tees and greens.
Bishops Gate and IJGA are the home of Gary Gilchrist, the first name you think of for junior golf instruction. Gary and his team of coaches are here to help you with individualized instruction during winter golf camp. You’ll receive the same training from on-site instructors as our Academy attendees.
Your daily routine isn’t just focused on golf. You have meals, free time in the evenings, and on-campus housing during winter golf camp. You get to spend time with like-minded people who love golf and who are trying to take their game to the next level. You get to live, breathe, and talk golf at winter camp, but you also get to relax with your peers and make new friends.
