Paloma Signing Day

Paloma Ibarra at the Women’s Amateur Latin America Championship

Women’s Amateur Latin America (WALA) Championship

Baylor University

IJGA student Paloma Ibarra, who has climbed to 550 in the World Amateur Golf Rankings with four wins and four top-three finishes in the last few months, has earned her place in the Women’s Amateur Latin America Championship.

This event brings together the top amateur players in Latin America.

Taking the Next Step at Baylor

Before leaving, Ibarra signed with Baylor University last week and will be joining the women’s golf team next spring, just a couple of months away.

Turning Hard Work Into Results

We wish Paloma the best as she represents herself, her family, and IJGA on this competitive international stage. And, of course, we are sad to see her leave, as she has been a remarkably positive presence on campus!

A Promising Future With IJGA

We’re proud of our students’ continued progress on and off the course, and we look forward to supporting their next steps in the game.
