IJGA Alumni Isabel Kuri Enters WAGR

World Amateur Golf Ranking

Club Campestre Cofoyoc

When Isabel Kuri joined IJGA as a sophomore in August 2023, she was already established as one of Mexico’s most promising female junior golfers.

A serious wrist injury set her back for many months in the fall of 2024, but she is now back, playing injury-free.

On October 26th at Club Campestre Cofoyoc, Isabel won the 54-hole Stage 2 South of the XXIV GOLFSUR event, earning a spot in the prestigious World Amateur Golf Ranking.

All of her friends and staff at IJGA congratulate her on her patience and determination in recovering from injury to achieve this important win.

Isabel’s success is a testament to her resilience, talent, and the work she began during her time at IJGA.

Everyone at the academy is celebrating this milestone and looks forward to following her continued progress. Congratulations, Isabel!
