Joon came to IJGA Hilton Head in 2019. Once she turned 18 she decided to turn pro and head to the LPGA Qualifying school Stage 1 in Palm Springs, California. Joon didn’t make it all the way to the final stage, however, she was able to secure a spot on the Epson Tour. As a rookie on the Epson tour she had 5 top 10 finishes and finished 9 times inside the top 20. These stats allowed Hyo-Joon to make over $78,000 and finish 10th on the money list.
In 2022:
- In 2022, made 14 cuts in 19 starts on the Epson Tour earning $78,611 (10)
- Recorded five top 10 finishes including season-best runner-up results at the IOA Golf Classic and Tuscaloosa Toyota Classic
- Finished 10th on the Epson Tour money list to earn LPGA membership for the 2023 season
In 2023:
- 11 events, five cuts made, $78,414 (139)
- Recorded a season-best T10 at the Portland Classic
- Finished T7 at LPGA Q-Series
