Filip Jakubcik, a 2022 graduate of the International Junior Golf Academy (IJGA) and current University of Arizona junior, has made collegiate golf history by winning the Western Intercollegiate for the second year in a row. He is the first player to achieve this since 1966, highlighting his skill and focus on the course.

The tournament took place at Pasatiempo Golf Club in Santa Cruz, California, a course designed by Alister MacKenzie. Jakubcik played rounds of 65, 66, and 66 to finish at 13-under par. He outpaced the field by six strokes and delivered one of the most dominant performances in the event’s recent history.
