HungFung “Leo” Liang Earns First IJGT Victory with Breakthrough Performance

IJGA Standout Claims First Title at IJGT Spring Series

HungFung “Leo” Liang, a standout player at the International Junior Golf Academy (IJGA), secured his first win on the International Junior Golf Tour (IJGT) at the Spring Series #3 in early March. Known for his exceptional ball striking, Leo has consistently put himself in winning positions, but this time, he closed the deal with a composed and commanding performance.

Strong Start and Steady Finish Seal the Win

Leo started round one in signature fashion, firing seven birdies. A few errant shots kept him to a 1-under-par 71, but the stage was set. In round two, Leo came out firing with an eagle and four birdies on the front nine, quickly taking the lead. He then played a controlled back nine to finish at 6-under par, earning a well-deserved first-place finish.

A Bright Future Ahead

This breakthrough win marks a major milestone in Leo’s development at IJGA. With talent, discipline, and now confidence in closing, there’s no doubt more IJGT victories are on the horizon for this rising junior golf star.
