Congratulations to the Montverde Academy girls’ golf team. These talented golfers clinched the Florida State Championship title, a first for Montverde Academy. The only team under par, by one shot, they beat Circle Christian by ten shots.
Grace Xu, this year’s MVP, led the way with an eleven-under-total to secure the individual title (62 and 69). This was a record low score for the winner of the Florida State Championship. As a freshman, this showcases promising golf performance ahead for Grace Xu.
Having won their first “States,” the Montverde Academy girls team looks forward to more victories in the future.
