At a critical time in his golf development, IJGA alumnus Robin Williams spent time at Bishops Gate, building his confidence and love for golf.
Now, ten years later, he has his DP World Tour card. This weekend, he finished tied fourth in the Alfred Dunhill Links Championship, played over three links courses of Kingsbarns, Carnoustie, and the Old Course at St Andrews, where they played the closing round.
Going out in six under par on the Old Course on Sunday, he finished six under for the round, his third 66 of the championship. He demonstrated remarkable precision and composure on the iconic links courses while competing against some of the world’s best golfers.
It was also good to see Haotong Li doing well, coming in tied seventh, one shot behind Robin. Haotong also used Bishops Gate as his base for a year and a half as he began his professional journey on the Latin American tour.
Congratulations to IJGA alumnus Robin Williams and Haotong Li on their exceptional golf performance!
