IJGA golfer Joshua Hess is on a roll with his third win in just two months.
These victories come after a decision to move to the USA to develop his golf skills and the hard work he has put into his game during the last school year. Joshua’s wins on varied courses and under diverse weather conditions demonstrate his adaptability, mental toughness, and exceptional talent.
Il Copa Sureste Win
The Il Copa Sureste is one of the most prestigious events hosted by the Federation of Mexican Golf. Playing at the challenging Riviera Cancun Golf Course, Joshua showcased his consistency with 74, 74, and 75 rounds. This performance underscores his ability to maintain high standards in demanding conditions.
Independent International Invitational
Representing Montverde Academy, where Joshua attends, he led the boys’ team to victory and was the individual winner of this inaugural event.
With twenty-four teams from prestigious schools in the USA, England, and China, the competition was fierce. Played at the Crumpin Fox Club, a few hours from Boston, Massachusetts, Joshua scored 71, 72, winning by two shots. His team finished just six over par in aggregate, narrowly beating the second Montverde Academy team by one shot and ten shots ahead of third place.
Swiss Junior Golf Tour Victory
Joshua’s performance at the Golf and Country Club de Bossey tournament was outstanding, with rounds of 75, 68, and 73, totaling three over par.
Known for its fairways and demanding course layout, the course tests a golfer’s precision and endurance. Joshua navigated it with patience and skill, securing another impressive victory.
