IJGA golfer Paloma Ibarra won the U15 section of Asociacion de Clubes de Golf del Norte in
Monterrey on Sunday, February 18 th , 2024 to earn her WAGR ranking. She comes in at 2,982,
which is typical of new entrants. Paloma is the eighth WAGR ranked female student at IJGA,
which along with six WAGR ranked male students, is the most WAGR ranked students that we
have had at IJGA.
Paloma is now in the Spring Semester of her first year as a Full-Timer at IJGA. So far she has been excelling in every environment from the IJGT Tour, daily practice, and FMG tournaments. We are excited to support her development and watch as her determination brings her many more successes.
Paloma is one of our many students from Mexico who often compete in national tournaments year round. It is highly important for our players to bring a mix of national tournaments coupled with tournament experience in the U.S. Many of our Mexican students take part in competing in FMG tournaments throughout the year. At IJGA we support and plan the portfolio that works for the individual.
