IJGA Alumni Brady Duval and John Daly are a regular fixture at the PNC Father Son event held annually at the Ritz-Carlton in Orlando with their major winning fathers. Two years ago “Big” John and JD2 won with a record breaking 27 under par, and last year came second. Although the Daly’s again showed well this year it was David and Brady Duval who were in contention, with two eagles today, the second being a flag hunting iron by Brady to a couple of feet on the eighteenth hole, a really spectacular shot, like many we were privileged to see him hit during his last semester at Bishops Gate earlier this year. The Duval’s finished with 23 under and were only beaten into second place by an extraordinary round by Bernard and Jason Langer, that probably even surprised them. Congratulations to the Langer’s, and of course to our favorite teams, the Duval’s and Daly’s, in entertaining us in what for many is the most fun event in the golf calendar.
