IJGT Summer Series 2023

IJGA golfers started the IJGT International Junior Golf Tour, 2023 Summer Series with a bang! The IJGT fields were strengthened in the first two summer events with visiting China Taipei team members.

IJGA golfer Sophia Chen won the girl’s division in the first series with a six-underscore. This feat was even more impressive as Chen managed it in the rain. 

Because of the weather, the event was shortened to 27 holes. Despite the conditions, Chen’s teammates Chun-Wei Wu and Olivia Hung came in second and third. 

In the second series, another IJGA athlete, Tingyu Chang, won the girl’s division with two under-score.
