Weekend Tournament Preview – Sept. 24, 2015

After last weekend’s combination of victories and personal bests, we are so excited to see what this weekend has in store for IJGA students and alumni! Keep reading to find information about the tournaments are students and alumni are competing in this weekend.

PRO

Pablo Larrazabal and Morgan Hoffmann are both competing in the European Tour’s Porsche European Open. The four-day, 72-hole event is being hosted by Golf Resort Bad Griesbach in Bad Griesbach, Germany, on September 24-27, 2015.

COLLEGE

Phyllis Tang (Boston University) will be competing in the Dartmouth Invitational. The two-day event will be held at Hanover Country Club in Hanover, N.H., on September 26-27, 2015.

Cake Phuchanbanchob fired a 2-over 73 in her first collegiate tournament round earlier this month! She returns to action this weekend in the Wyoming Cowgirl Classic. The two-day event will be hosted at The Classic Club in Palm Desert, Calif. on September 26-27, 2015.

Regina Plasencia (Arkansas) and Ayaka Nakayama (University of Central Florida) will be competing against each other in the ANNIKA Intercollegiate. The three-day event will be held on September 27-29, 2015.

After transferring from Spartanburg Methodist College, Nikita Arjun (Armstrong State) will be competing in her first event at a Pirate this weekend. She’ll be playing in the Lander Bearcat Invitational at Old South Golf Links in Hilton Head on September 26-27, 2015.

HIGH SCHOOL

A group of IJGA students will be traveling to Myrtle Beach, S.C. to compete in the HJGT Myrtle Beach Junior Open. The two-day, 36-hole event will be held at Myrtle Beach National on September 26-27, 2015. Jason Hijazi, Kyle Ash, Brock Erwin, Santiago Diaz and Arjun Puri will be competing in the Boys 15-18 Division. Betty Horaney will be competing in the Girls Division.
