Dr. Robert Bjork, Distinguished Research Professor
Department of Psychology
University of California

Dr. Robert A. Bjork is Distinguished Research Professor in the Department of Psychology at the University of California, Los Angeles. His research focuses on human learning and memory and on the implications of the science of learning for instruction and self-regulated learning. He is past president or chair of the Association for Psychological Science; the Psychonomic Society; and the Society of Experimental Psychologists. He is a recipient of UCLA’s Distinguished Teaching Award and (together with Dr. Elizabeth L. Bjork) the Association for Psychological Science’s James McKeen Cattell Award. He is a Fellow of the American Academy of Arts and Sciences.

Dr. Bob Christina

Dr. Bob Christina is Emeritus Professor of Kinesiology and Emeritus Dean of the School of Health and Human Sciences at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro (UNCG). For the past 10 years, he has served as Assistant Men’s Golf Coach at UNCG. He also serves as research and educational consultant on Learning and Performance for the Pinehurst Golf Academy, Precision Golf School, Golf Magazine, Golf Magazine’s Top 100 Teachers, PGA of America, LPGA Teaching and Club Professionals, and the Steering Committee of the World Scientific Congress of Golf.

Dr. Anders Ericsson
Professor of Psychology
Florida State University

Anders Ericsson (born 1947) is a Swedish psychologist and Conradi Eminent Scholar and Professor of Psychology at Florida State University who is internationally recognized as a researcher in the psychological nature of expertise and human performance.

Currently, Ericsson studies expert performance in domains such as medicine, music, chess, and sports, focusing exclusively on extended deliberate practice (e.g., high concentration practice beyond one’s comfort zone) as a means of how expert performers acquire their superior performance. Critically, Ericsson’s program of research serves as a direct complement to other research that addresses cognitive ability, personality, interests, and other factors that help researchers understand and predict deliberate practice and expert performance.

Dr. Tim Lee
Professor of Kinesiology
McMaster University, Ontario, Canada

Dr. Tim Lee has published more than 80 papers on the topics of motor control and motor skill acquisition in peer-reviewed journals. He is the author of Motor Control in Everyday Actions and is the co-author with Richard Schmidt of Motor Control and Learning: A Behavioral Emphasis, which is now in its 5th edition. Tim has served as an editor for the Journal of Motor Behavior and the Research Quarterly for Exercise and Sport, and as an editorial board member for the Psychological Review and the Journal of Motor Learning and Development. Tim is a past president and Fellow of the Canadian Society for Psychomotor Learning and Sport Psychology, and an International Fellow in the National Academy of Kinesiology.

Dr. Robert Neal

Dr. Neal established golf biodynamics (GBD) in 2000 with the intention of providing the best possible biomechanics service available to golfers and teaching professionals alike. The GBD philosophy toward performance enhancement believes in an integrated approach to supporting ‘the golf athlete’. That is, we combine a scientific approach with the practical skills necessary to bring about technical change, all of which is performed in conjunction with the teaching professional and the athlete’s own support network (which may include the athletic development specialist, physical therapist, podiatrist, nutritionist, etc.).

Dr. Fran Pirozzolo

Dr. Fran Pirozzolo is a licensed consulting psychologist who has worked with many of the world’s top athletes. He also has a private practice consulting business. Dr. Pirozzolo was the Mental Skills Coach for the New York Yankees from 1996 – 2002, a period during which the Yankees won four World Championships. From 1988 – 1995, Pirozzolo served in a similar position in uniform with the Houston Astros, for the Detroit Tigers (2000). In 2002 Dr. Pirozzolo became the player development coach for the NFL’s Houston Texans from 2002 -2006. His work with the Texans resulted in winning the Winston Shell Award for excellence in player development. Pirozzolo was a training consultant for the Heavyweight Champion of the World, Evander Holyfield, from 1990 – 1998.

Trillium Rose is a certified teaching professional and Director of Instruction at Woodmont Country Club in Rockville, Maryland. An innovator and life-long learner, her knowledge of teacher effectiveness, mechanics and practice training has proven highly successful.   She has improved the games of over 1,000 individuals who rely on her cutting-edge expertise, and honest, straight- forward approach.  
Her area of expertise is in helping golfers develop their skills as quickly as possible and help them practice efficiently.  She is highly skilled at designing and implementing curriculums that develop golf athletes with targeted practice plans.   A graduate of Teachers College, Columbia University with a master’s degree in Motor Learning and Control, she also has a formal education in the science behind how people acquire and adapt skills.  She was recently recognized as a Top 50 Teacher by the LPGA.  She was honored as the 2017 Middle Atlantic PGA “Teacher of the Year,” and awarded a “Best Teacher in State” distinction (ranked #3). Selected as one of “America’s Best Young Teachers” by Golf Digest, Trillium Rose’s name has been synonymous with quality practice standards and trusted education.
