Seven IJGA students finish in top-six at Golfweek Southeast Junior Invitational
Twelve IJGA students traveled to Pawleys Island, S.C., on September 6, 2014, for the 36-hole Golfweek Southeast Junior Invitational. The event was conducted like a college event with all 36 holes being played in one day. Two weather delays made the 36-hole day even longer for all of the competitors.

The North & South Junior is one of the most prestigious tournaments in the southeastern United States featuring 90 players in both the Boys and Girls Divisions. Zhang qualifies for U.S. Women’s Amateur
Current IJGA student, Yunjie Zhang of Haikou City, China, qualified for the U.S. Women’s Amateur at the sectional qualifier at Sapona Ridge Country Club on July 2, 2014. Zhang fired a 1-over-par 72 to finish in a tie for fifth place and earn one of the ten spots available at the qualifier.
