Bunyaporn “Nat” Zeng took up golf alongside her younger brother. A few years later, she joined the IJGA to help pursue her dream of playing NCAA Division I golf. Recently, Zeng won the Carolina Classic at Colleton River Plantation, an International Junior Golf Tour event, where she carded the lowest final round in the Girls Division and took home the coveted Clazic Belt. Now, the senior is committed to play at the University of Wisconson in Madison next fall and making her dreams a reality every day.

Q & A WITH ZENG
How old were you when you started playing golf?
I was nine when I started playing. I played until I was 12 then took some time off to focus on school before coming back. I came to the IJGA so I could play for the NCAA.
What is your favorite golf memory?
When I won my very first tournament in the USA.
What do you like to do in your free time?
I love to bake and watch movies. I also love spending time with my friends.
How do you think your friends would describe your personality?
My friends would definitely say I’m friendly, maybe they’d say I’m bubbly. They’d definitely call me a baker because I love to bake and share what I bake but they also would probably mention that I like to pull pranks too.
Whats the best piece of advice you’ve ever been given?
Never give up, no matter what.
What motivates you?
Improvement, challenge and wanting to win all motivate me a lot.
What’s the craziest thing that’s ever happened to you on the golf course?
Any time Coach Connor drives the golf cart is an adventure #Ineedaseatbelt #Ineedahelmet
What aspect of your game has improved the most this year?
My driving has improved a lot, so has my pitching.
