The 3 “Tees” of Performance: Physical, Mental and Nutrition
Physical Conditioning at IJGA specializes in customized performance-based assessment, training and training management. Significant emphasis is placed on the athlete’s quality of movement, power and durability in an effort to mimic the demands of the athlete’s golf game and address their individual needs.

Yoga and Pilates Training
Monthly strength and conditioning assessments make sure the programming is on track and keeps the athletes and parents focused on continued success.
Individual, partner, and small group training is available for the athletes who want to take their fitness to the next level. This can be either a combination of strength and conditioning or even private yoga sessions.
Our group yoga program takes place on Saturday mornings at 10AM when the athletes do not have a tournament.

IJGA equips golfers with the tools to master focus, goal setting and confidence. With enough preparation, athletes will learn to translate their training into victory. Because having a positive mind-set is half the battle.
How much you put out has a lot to do with what you put in. Students are educated in the importance of good nutrition for building and maintaining their strength.
We know how important it is to provide the proper nutrition to our student-athletes. By providing three well-balanced meals a day, seven days a week, students are able to maintain strong, healthy bodies as they continue to grow.
Healthy, nutritious meals are provided either at housing, at one of the Golf Clubs, catered, or on weekends, at local restaurant partners. When traveling to weekend tournaments, healthy meals are always provided .
