Many IJGA students showed off their skills in the IJGT Georgia Junior at Savannah Harbor over the weekend.
Kayla Kozak of Bluffton, S.C., won the Girls Division by two strokes! Kozak carded even-par 72s in both rounds for a 144 tournament total! She birdied the par-5 seventh hole in both rounds (helping her achieve a 4.5 average on par-5s) and led the division in birdies with seven. Tiana Cruz of Kingston, Jamaica, finished third in the Girls Division with a 148 tournament total.
Haruka Shintani (T4) of Setagaya, Japan, Sera Tadokoro (T7) of Osaka, Japan, Angela Aung (T7) of Yangon, Myanmar, and Melany Chong (T9) of Mississauga, Canada, also finished in the Top 10 in the Girls Division.

In the Boys 15-19 Division, Kanata Irei of Okinawa-shi, Japan, forced a playoff, but ended up finishing in second place. He fired 1-under 71s in both rounds to card a 2-under 142 tournament total! Arjun Puri of New Delhi, India, carded even-par 72s to finish with a 144 weekend total, good for third place.
Lino Galdin (T4) of Nesmy, France, and Leo Hernandez (T9) of Bluffton, S.C., also finished in the Top 10 in the Boys 15-19 Division.
Puri and Mao Hirota of Nagoya, Japan, both carded eagles during the tournament.

In the Boys 14 & Under Division, Chase Phillips of Hilton Head, S.C., earned second place and Noah Levine of Mendon, N.Y., finished fifth.
