With a mission to provide the best possible experience to our juniors, the IJGA is constantly working towards improvement. Thanks to the hard work and commitment from Student Life staff, the IJGA recently opened the doors to The Village Cafe, the exclusive dining facility of the IJGA. Located on the IJGA campus at the Lakes at Myrtle Park in Bluffton, S.C., The Village Cafe has taken dining to a whole new level.
As you walk inside, the warm colors and delightful aromas welcome hungry students for both breakfast and dinner daily.
It was out with the carpeting and dull white walls and in with hardwood floors and a new coat of paint. Too eager to wait, the Student Life staff opened the Cafe mere days after the renovation was complete. Students now enjoy balanced meals to start and finish each day in a place that offers both good food and great company.
Seating areas within the Cafe allow students to eat their meals alongside their friends and classmates. Director of Student Life, Erin Elliott, has selected tables that serve as a blank canvases to will be painted by the students in the future to reflect the IJGA’s deep cultural diversity.
As we continue to grow, the IJGA will be refining its menus and operational systems to further enhance the dining experience.
