The IJGT Tournament of Champions featured several high level performances. Four competitors finished under par in this 54-hole WAGR ranked event that took place at IJGA Bishops Gate. Jack Turner (USA) dominated the Boys U19 strong field. Opening with a round of 6-under par 66, Jack capped off his win in round three with a 2-under par 70 in windy conditions. His total score for the championship was 8-under par. Christian Muñoz (PER) finished in second place with an overall score of 4-under par. Sean Citherlet (MEX) played his final two rounds at 4-under par to secure third place. Ian Davis (USA) and Kenny Leseur (BMU) rounded out the top five of this junior golf event.
The Girls Division was dominated by Joon Jang (KOR), who shot three consecutive rounds under par and finished at 4-under par for the event. Gabriella Gilrowski (USA) fired a 3-under par 69 in the final round to vault into second place overall. Anne Yu (CHN) also completed the final round with a 3-under 69 to secure a third place tie with Sakurako Tanaka (JPN). Rounding out the top 5 was One Kashima (JPN).
The IJGT Tournament of Champions successfully concludes the spring tournament season at the International Junior Golf Academy.
