Several International Junior Golf Academy students took advantage of a tournament-free weekend by volunteering at the Programs for Exceptional People fall gala at Sea Pines Country Club and the Special Olympics North America Golf Invitational at Port Royal Golf Club.
The students who volunteered at the gala–including Shiso Go, Linda Trockel, Dee Johnson, Aniruddh Kedlaya, Santiago Diaz, Jim Ji, Angela Aung, Kayla Kozak, Saptak Talwar, Alex Guillen, Meredith Langs and Jasmine Chee–were tasked with running the silent auction, which raised money for Programs for Exceptional People.

At the golf tournament, students were assigned various duties including serving as cart drivers, scorers and one lucky student even acted as a caddy for the weekend! Residential Coordinator for Community Relations Barb Bausch organized the IJGA contingent and even served as a volunteer herself!

The students who volunteered at the Special Olympics North America Golf Invitational included Melany Chong, Colton Tanner, Arjun Puri, Kayla Kozak, Santiago Diaz, Jasmine Chee, Jim Ji, Sharad Arora, Noah Levine, Ryan Pongrac and Jake Smirnov.
