Many IJGA alumni have started their college golf seasons in the past two weeks. For some it, this marked the beginning of their college careers, and for others, another season full of defending tournament titles and working towards claiming conference championships in the Spring of 2015. Laura Restrepo, a member of the University of Louisville’s Women’s Golf program, was back to her winning ways after firing a 3-under-par 141 to earn medalist honors at the Cardinal Kickoff on Sept. 7, 2014. Restrepo paced the Cardinal team that won the competition by 33 strokes over the University of Georgia. This was Restrepo’s third-career individual title. Just a junior, Restrepo will look to defend her individual title at the Cardinal Cup, which starts on Sept. 16, 2014 at the University of Louisville Golf Course.
