Manuel Bermudez

Director of Instruction

Manuel Bermudez born in Valencia, Venezuela turned professional in 2002 and offers 21 years of coaching experience. He attended University of Arkansas at Little Rock under an athletic scholarship, being named All-Conference team for multiple years. After graduating with a degree in Business Administration Manuel then played on professional tours in Europe and South America. Manuel continued his passion for learning and golf development, gaining his TPI Level III certificate, TPI Fitness-Power-Junior Level II certificate and achieving the status of Master Instructor/ High Performance coach, amongst numerous other training certifications. After Playing Professionally for 5 years Manuel started as an independent coach until he joined IJGA where he quickly rose to become a POD Leader. During this time, he took positions as Director of Golf for partners Yani Tseng Golf Academy in China, IJGA-Mexico and IJGA- Albatross in India. In July 2023 he returned to IJGA as the Director of Instruction. Manuel has coached multiple AJGA Rolex Junior All Americans and multiple College All-Americans, as well as players on various professional tours. He has continued to coach many of his juniors during their college golf careers at many notable colleges, including Auburn, Baylor, Arkansas, Georgia, Oklahoma, Stanford, Washington. In adding value to the player’s game results tell the story, which is what IJGA has consistently achieved and why it is considered the premier junior golf academy in the world. The IJGA students improve on and off the golf course, achieving their dreams of getting into top US college golf programs, with some making the various professional tours. To return to IJGA in a senior position is a dream opportunity for me and I look forward to continuing to motivate and develop some wonderful junior golfers.
