BGGA, BGGA La Loma and IJGA Alumni and Students Shine in Mexican Amateur

International Junior Golf Academy (IJGA) and Bishops Gate Golf Academy (BGGA) alumni and students finished well on the leaderboard at the 92st Mexican International Amateur Championship, held June 6-9, 2019, in Mexico City, Mexico. The 72-hole stroke play championship draws an international field from North, South and Central America.

Winner RJ Manke fired an 11-under 277 to win the tournament by nine shots. IJGA alumni Aaron Terrazas played an outstanding tournament, finishing 2-under for second place. BGGA alumni Julian Perico was close behind T5.

Four IJGA and BGGA students place in the top 20.

2nd– Aaron Terrazas (IJGA alumni graduated from Texas El Paso) – 69-72-70-75=286

T5- Julian Perico (BGGA alumni now at University of Arkansas) – 70-68-78-73=289

T13- Santiago De La Fuente (IJGA student 2019) – 77-75-76-70=295

T16- Luis Garza (BGGA alumni now at University of Arkansas) – 77-73-72-74=296

34th– Eloy Vigil (BGGA alumni who returned to Mexico for senior year) – 76-72-74- 78=300

36th – Jose Cristobal Islas (BGGA La Loma player) 76-73-75-77=301

40th – Andres Quintanilla (BGGA La Loma player) 72-76-76-78=302

45th – Alejandro Santibañez (BGGA La Loma alumni now at St Mary’s) 74-78-75-76=303
