In August 2023 Joshua Hess took the giant leap to leave the success he was experiencing in Switzerland, as a member of the national junior squad, to challenge himself against the best young golfers in the United States.
In May 2024, he won the inaugural Independent International Invitational, over the best students in private schools in the USA, with entrants also from the United Kingdom and China.

This week, Joshua Hess dominated the first International Junior Golf Tour world amateur ranking event of the academic year, by nine shots, with a ten under par total in difficult, wet conditions.
