Hung Le Makes The Cut at US Amateur

IJGA golfer Hung Le

Resilience and a strong mental attitude are essential in golfers, and IJGA rising junior Hung Le Khan showed himself to be up to the challenge in the US Amateur.

After an excellent first round, Hung started with a string of bogeys before his determination resulted in sufficient birdies to make the cut into the last 64 from the 312 entrants, which included other IJGA alumni Hiroshi Tai (NCAA Individual Champion 2024), John Daly II (Arkansas, Junior) and Gerardo Gomez (Mexican Amateur Champion 2024). Currently, 210 in WAGR, he will break through into the top 200, continuing his steady rise.

Junior Presidents Cup

As a leading junior international amateur, Hung was selected to represent the international team in the Junior Presidents Cup in Montreal in early September.

Congratulations, Hung, and well deserved!
