The Challenge of Seletar Country Club

The South East Asian Team Championships in Singapore were played at the Seletar Country Club, a course with a challenging layout that rewards ball striking and strategy. Opening with a first-round 71, Hung then closed in on the lead midway through the second round with a front 9 of 32; however, a lapse in concentration resulted in a back 9 of 42, dropping him out of the top 10 and out of the medal race.

Bouncing Back Strong

After completing the second round, Hung spent much time reflecting on his performance with his team. Taking the positives out of round two, he was able to regain his focus on the process, allowing him to play close to flawlessly over the next two days with back-to-back 67s. He closed his final round with a back 9 of 32, claiming 3rd place individually.
