Describe your role at BGGA?
As a houseparent, I mentor the students of BGGA, while providing a safe and positive environment where they can thrive.

What’s your favorite part about your job?
Getting to the know the students! There’s such a wide variety of personalities and cultures.

What’s the best piece of advice you have ever received?
Instead of complaining, make it a point to be grateful every day!

What is your favorite home-cooked meal?
Steak, baked potato and a tossed salad.

What is always stocked in your refrigerator?
As a houseparent at BGGA; not much of anything. That’s a testament to the catering staff at Champs!

If you could live anywhere in the world, where would it be and why?
Anywhere near my wife, kids and grandkids; because they are the best gift!

Is there anything you are addicted to? Or can’t live without?
Listening to or playing music.

What movie do you watch again and again?
The Lord of the Rings Trilogy

Where is your favorite place to travel and why?
So far, the western half of Washington State. The scenery is absolutely beautiful!

What’s one thing we don’t know about you?
I play guitar and sing. In the past, I’ve led worship in church.

Georgia bulldog football
