Each month Heritage Academy, our partner academic school, selects Students of the Month who embody a key value as outlined in the Academy Honor Code: Humility, Ethics, Respect, Integrity, Tolerance, Accountability, Generosity and Effort. These values are not only important for shaping character, an important aspect of life at IJGA, but they are also present in the competitive golf world. As such, we encourage all IJGA students to live up to these values on a daily basis, on and off the green.
October is “Respect” month at Heritage and we are proud to have two IJGA students named to the Heritage Academy Student of the Month list. Junior Ray Ahn and middle schooler One Kashima were nominated by Heritage faculty for consistently embodying respect at school and in their daily lives. As we come together as an international community to form the IJGA family, respect is so important, and we are ecstatic that Ray and One have been recognized by Heritage Academy in this way.
