Weekend Tournament Preview December 4

This weekend, a small group of International Junior Golf Academy students will be traveling south to the Sunshine State to compete in the Hurricane Junior Golf Tour National Championship. IJGA students will be competing in the Tournament of Champions, Boys 15-18 Division and Girls Division. All three events will be 36 holes and will be played on December 5-6, 2015.

Colton Tanner will be IJGA’s sole representative in the Tournament of Champions, which will be played on the International Course at Champions Gate Golf Resort.

Alex Guillen, Trent Hope, Leo Hernandez and Rekgabile Nyhonyha will be competing in the Boys 15-18 Division, which will be hosted at the National Course at Champions Gate Golf Resort.

Ankita Kedlaya and Melany Chong will be competing in the Girls Division, which will be hosted at Champions Gate Country Club.

Alumni

Stephanie Meadow is competing in the LPGA Q-School Finals. The five-day, 90-hole event is being hosted at LPGA International in Daytona Beach, Fla., on December 2-6, 2015. The top 20 finishers will earn full LPGA membership and players who finish 21st-45th and ties will earn conditional membership. All players who complete 72 will earn Symetra Tour status.
