What started as a small Thanksgiving tournament in a quiet town is now one of the most anticipated events of the year for Hilton Head, S.C. The annual RBC Heritage is held during the week following the Masters each year and features seven days of tournament play. The 2014 RBC Heritage Opening Ceremony was held on Monday, April 14, 2014, at Sea Pines Resort in front of thousands of spectators eager for a week filled with good weather, enjoyable times and great golf.
For the first time, the IJGA was awarded the honor of carrying flags and standards in the parade portion of the opening ceremony to help recognize the distinguished guests and honorees in attendance.Those students selected to carry flags and standards in the parade were nominated and selected by IJGA staff.
